The breathtaking views of Pikes Peak, one of the seven “Summits over 14,000 feet” in Colorado, can be seen from many different points throughout the park. The land was once used for ranching and logging operations, but it has since been restored to its natural state.
Upon arrival at Mueller State Park, visitors can choose between two camping areas: The South Meadows Campground and The North Meadows Campground. Both locations are surrounded by tall ponderosa pine trees that offer ample shade during warmer months. All campsites include electricity hookups as well as fire rings with grates for campfires.
